This policy explains how purchasing, cancellations, refunds, and related matters work at Good Guys Probiotics, a brand of Flore Inc. ("Flore," "we," "us," or "our").
1. How Our Purchasing Works
When you place an order, you select a supply duration and pay once:
- 3-month supply — one-time payment at $99/month base ($297 total)
- 6-month supply — one-time payment at $99/month base ($594 total); bulk discounts may apply
- 12-month supply — one-time payment at $99/month base ($1,188 total); bulk discounts may apply
Your personalized probiotic formulation is manufactured at our facility in Joliet, IL and shipped to you according to your selected supply plan. There are no automatic renewals, recurring charges, or hidden fees. When your supply duration ends, you may choose to place a new order at that time.
2. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Your First Order Is Backed by Our 30-Day Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your first order of Good Guys Probiotics, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of delivery. This guarantee applies to first-time orders only.
To initiate a satisfaction guarantee claim:
- Email support@goodguysprobiotics.com within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number and the reason for your request.
- Our team will process your refund within 10 business days of approval.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation Before Shipment
You may cancel your order for a full refund within 5 business days of placing the order, provided your personalized formulation has not yet shipped. To cancel, contact support@goodguysprobiotics.com with your order number.
3.2 Cancellation After Shipment
Once your order has shipped, cancellation is no longer available. You may still be eligible for a refund under our 30-day satisfaction guarantee (first orders only) or on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances.
3.3 Cancellation of Multi-Month Shipments
If your supply plan involves multiple shipments (e.g., monthly shipments within a 6-month or 12-month plan), you may request to pause or cancel remaining shipments by contacting support. Refunds for unshipped portions of your order will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
4. Pause Option
If you need to temporarily pause your remaining shipments (for travel, health reasons, or any other reason), you may do so by contacting our support team:
- Email support@goodguysprobiotics.com with your order number and the duration of your requested pause.
- Pauses may be requested for up to 90 days.
- Paused shipments will resume automatically after the pause period ends, or when you notify us that you are ready to resume.
- Pausing does not entitle you to a refund for the paused period.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Eligible Refunds
- 30-day satisfaction guarantee (first order): Full refund within 30 days of delivery.
- Cancellation within 5 business days: Full refund if order has not shipped.
- Damaged or defective products: Full replacement or refund for products that arrive damaged or are confirmed to be defective. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage.
- Incorrect formulation: If we ship an incorrect formulation that does not match your order, we will replace it at no cost or issue a full refund.
5.2 Non-Refundable Situations
- Partially used supplies: Opened or partially consumed products (beyond the first-order satisfaction guarantee) are not eligible for refunds.
- Buyer's remorse after 5 business days: Orders that have shipped and are past the 5-business-day cancellation window (and are not first orders within the 30-day guarantee period) are not refundable.
- Failure to follow usage instructions: We cannot offer refunds based on results if the product was not used as directed.
5.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
6. Price Changes
We reserve the right to adjust our pricing. If we change pricing that would affect your existing order or future order options:
- We will provide at least 30 days' written notice (via email) before any price change takes effect.
- Price changes will not affect orders already placed and paid for.
- If you have a multi-shipment plan, the price you paid at the time of your original order will be honored for the duration of that plan.
7. Formula Updates
As microbiome science evolves, we may update or refine your personalized formulation to better serve your gut health needs. If we plan to make a significant change to your formulation:
- We will provide at least 14 days' notice via email before shipping an updated formula.
- The notice will explain what is changing and why.
- You may contact us to discuss the change, request to keep your current formulation (if available), or cancel remaining shipments for a pro-rata refund.
